Finally, the official information.
There will be no official website for this information, I however, will post it on the Tournaments section
of PHUEL's website. Waitlist team should complete all of the steps, including rostering, but not send a
check. If the waitlist team is asked to play, you will bring a check to the field. No timeline on when
the waitlist team will know if they will be needed.
Seeding of the OPEN teams will be based on final results of PHUEL Division 1 City Championships.
A note, BOTH Radnor and CB East will be invited to participate in the Division 1 City Tournament,
regardless of the outcome of this rounds game. The winner of this game will earn a spot at States, the
loser will be waitlisted. The reason both teams will be at D1 City will be to have an even bracket.
The winner will be the 7 seed, loser, the 8 seed.
Any team that cannot make that date will forfeit their spot at States and a waitlist team will be invited.
If your team is not available to play at the City Championship on May 17th OR State Championships on
May 24-25 (MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND) I must know IMMEDIATELY.
City Championships will be held at Edgely on May 17th, brackets to follow after all games are played out.
All spots will be played out on May 17th each team should expect 3 games.

- 5/14/08: UPA Waivers arrived at the UPA. (address below)
- 5/15/08: UPA online roster started
- 5/19/08: Bid fee received by Darren Shultz ($375 open, $175 girls)
- 5/21/08: UPA *online* roster ompleted.

fields b/c this is a busy weekend. If you like to find your own hotel
and want some assistance from a local Ultimate player, please contact

- Alternate Housing: If the cost of hotels is too onerous, housing
for out of town teams is being provided for teams at the homes of some
of our local players free of charge. Please contact Christie Lawry

4.) Costs:
- Tournament Fees
- $325 + $50 security deposit for open
- $150 + $25 security deposit for girls
- You will receive your security deposit back if you meet
all deadlines above, play all your games, and do not trash your
fields.
- If your team pulls out of the tournament with less than a week
before the event your security deposit will be forfeit.
- If your team pulls out of the tournament with less than 48 hours
before the event then your entire bid fee may be held.
